COURSE DESCRIPTION
This three-day course is geared toward those seeking to be licensed as an asbestos consultant or accredited as a project designer. A passing score of 70 % and above on the multiple choice examination are necessary for the completion of the course.
The course addresses: asbestos background and health effects, personal protective equipment, state-of-the-art work practices, personal hygiene, other safety hazards, medical monitoring, relevant state, federal and local regulations, respiratory protection, hands-on training, insurance and liability, record keeping, supervisory techniques, contract specifications, course review and manual.
