COURSE DESCRIPTION
This four-day course includes a written examination of 50 multiple-choice questions and meets Cal/OSHA requirements for Class I and II work. A score of at least 70% correct on the written exam is needed to successfully complete the course. The course addresses: asbestos background and health effects, personal protective equipment, state-of-the-art work practices, personal hygiene, other safety hazards, medical monitoring, relevant state, federal and local regulations, respiratory protection, safe work methods, hands-on training, course review and manual.
