The management planner course consists of two days of training. Those seeking to be licensed as management planners must complete this course. Training includes a written examination of 50 multiple-choice questions. A passing score of 70 % and above on the multiple choice examination are necessary for the completion of the course.
The course addresses: asbestos background and health effects, legal liabilities, hazard assessment, evaluation and selection of control options, development of an O & M plan, regulatory review, record keeping, assembling and submitting of a management plan, financing abatement actions, course review and manual.
